The Infant Jesus Novena Prayer

O Jesus, who has said, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you” — through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I knock, I seek, I ask that my prayer be granted.

O Jesus, who has said, “All that you ask of the Father in My name, He will grant you” — through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I humbly and urgently ask Your Father in Your name that my prayer be granted.

O Jesus, who has said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My word shall not pass” — through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted. Amen.

அற்புதம் நிகழ்ந்த ஆண்டு

The founding miracle

A rain-swept night in November

On the night the statue of the Infant Jesus was brought to the village, Mr. Soundararajan — a retired teacher, bedridden for three years after a spinal injury — saw the Infant Jesus in a luminous white radiance. He was blessed, bidden to rise, and walked without help or pain. He went from house to house announcing what had happened.

Archbishop Most Rev. Dr. Justin Diraviam of Madurai examined the reports and, after prayerful discernment, approved the apparition and the healings that followed. The Tamil Novena to the Infant Jesus — now prayed by Tamil communities worldwide — was first composed here.
