The Founding Miracle

Mr. Soundararajan, a retired teacher of Kavirayapuram, had been chronically ill for three years after a severe spinal injury. On the night the statue of the Infant Jesus was brought to the village, he experienced an apparition and a miraculous healing — by his own testimony, the Infant Jesus appeared in a luminous white radiance, blessed him, and bade him rise and walk. Archbishop Most Rev. Dr. Justin Diraviam of Madurai, after prayerful discernment, approved the reported apparition and the healings that followed.
